Art Museum (iPhone)
Art Museum is great fun as you match paintings from famous artists while classical music plays in the background. You will get to learn the titles of the paintings, the painter and to recognize the actual paintings in this memory matching game that lets the imagination fly.
Each game consists of 4 rounds. In round 1 you match the paintings and learn their titles and the artist names. In round 2 you match the painting to the names of the artists. In round 3 you match the paintings to the title. The final round is all words as you match the titles with the artists.
Easy Level
Easy level has you matching 8 pairs of paintings, painting names and/or artist names at once. Showing here is round 2 where you are matching the paintings with the artist names.
We have decided to go with a minimum amount of color in this game so the paintings really stand out and speak on their own. Probably the biggest bummer is that you don't get to look at them even longer!
Medium Level
Playing the Medium level is a great way to spend a rainy day. It is challenging enough to make time fly by, while at the same time still being fun and enjoyable to solve. You get to find and match 12 pairs of paintings, painting names and artist names as you work your way through the rounds.
Main Screen
We lay out all of our iPhone apps with a main screen starting point. Use the Options to change music, sound, level and mode settings. The About screen will show you credits for the various people involved in creation of the application. Explore lets you get started on becoming an art expert.
With 43 paintings from famous artists on display and classical music from The Apollo Symphony Orchestra playing in the background, one feels inspired to reach for higher goals and hope for our future.
Match Found
When a match is made the painting, painting name and artist name are shown. You can change the match type as well as different levels of difficulty. This allows the game to change as your concentration and ability to recognize paintings increases.
Each game randomly uses different paintings from a total selection of 43, but will use the same paintings through all 4 rounds. This enhances the ability to learn that set. The more you play the quicker you will get. You can also set it to just painters and titles in word only mode and there are 3 levels of difficulty each presenting more paintings per round.
Hard Level
Are you ready to examine the tiniest details? Our Hard Level might be just for you. Matching 18 paintings at once might just be something only a loquacious connoisseur would do.
